Friberg Evolution

De-Iceman

De-Iceman, marketed by WFE Systems, lowers the energy
costs  if you wish to keep the water surrounding a boat
or bridge free from ice.

The system knows when new ice is forming and then starts a water current generator or air compressor. Lars Friberg, Friberg Evolution AB, has invented De-Iceman which is a system with low energy costs to keep the water from freezing around boats and bridges. Stiernbrandt AB has developed electronics and software for the system.

Because of the systems design it minimizes the costs comparing to keeping a propeller or air compressor going a round the clock. Moreover there is less wear on the propeller engine.

Friberg Evolution AB is an industrial-tech company, which develops e.g. energy saving products.
